London City Airport 2024

At the beginning of 2024, I worked with creative studio Intercity on a brand awareness campaign for London City Airport (LCY).

The campaign was built around a simple insight (and brand truth): once you’ve experienced the ease and efficiency of flying from London’s most central airport, it becomes difficult to return to the scale and friction of larger alternatives.

We developed a series of bold, typographic ads designed to work across formats – from large DOOH screens to small digital placements. Using the heaviest (and previously unused) weight of LCY’s corporate typeface, we created short, punchy headlines that communicate the brand’s appeal in a way that feels both aspirational and playful.

The campaign also highlighted LCY’s position as London’s highest-rated airport, reinforcing the message with a clear and credible point of difference.
